This is outdoor-specific medical training and is separate from the below IOLS and BALOO courses.

  1. FRIDAY 6 PM till… First Aid/AED/CPR – $35 – registration deadline 20 March 2023 – If needed, the CPR/AED course is available on Friday, March 31st starting at 6:30 pm for a fee of $35. We recommend that you plan on spending the night at camp due to late hour of completion.
    1. Prerequisite – This is required prior to taking Wilderness First Aid.
  2. SATURDAY & SUNDAY 9 AM to 4 PM – Wilderness First Aid – $135 – registration deadline 20 March 2023 – Adult CPR/AED certification is required prior to attending – Overnight camping on Friday and Saturday nights is available.

This is leader specific training and is separate from the above medical training. IOLS = Scouts BSA, BALOO = Cub Scouts

  1. FRIDAY 6PM till…. SUNDAY 4 PM – IOLS – $35 which covers food and training materials – The 2023 Outdoor School is focused on the fundamentals of outdoor leader training. We will be offering Cub Scout Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) and Scouts BSA Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS). This training is open to Scouters in all districts. Due to course preparation needs, there will be no walk-in registration for this event.
    1. Prerequisite Training: Leader Specific Training & Youth Protection Training
  2. SATURDAY 9 AM – 4 PM – BALOO – $10 which covers food for lunch and training materials. This training is open to Scouters in all districts. Due to course preparation needs, there will be no walk-in registration for this event.
